Week4
My first idea for the P.R. event was to motivate people to find their own style, and the theme was an inspiration. To follow the focus and the theme, I was planning to arrange a wide variety of activities to support in discovering their new style. These activities are based on questions that young adults should be asking themselves when trying to identify their unique styles. However, I decided to change to a different P.R. event because I needed to reconsider what makes to bring to people.
When I think about what kind of event makes me want to go, I like to see many new releases of fashion designer products. I like to take Instagrammable photos of fashionable items with my friends. The title of my ZINE is ‘T.R.E.A.T.’; therefore, I came up with the idea that something can be people’s treat through the event. In addition, when I talked with the tutor, I got some advice that I need to think about what people like to do as a treat. As the tutor said, I agree with the idea that people like something free and they would go If the event has free items. I decided to combine some ideas from the first P.R. event to create the new event. Such as encouraging people to try different fashion products, which does not reveal people’s current fashion tastes. Instead, the aesthetic style survey determines which kind of colour, shape of the design and the texture of the cloth are suitable for people. When I think of this concept to be free, add the various fashion products that people can try on and take pictures with, certainly free to rent, and people can act like the product is their own during the event. I will add more specific details to the event.
