Week3-2
Following Carlyn’s advice, I want to create the ideas from a different perspective in the session. Such as transforming the pictures and closing up more details to focus on the objects that I mainly want to approach. As I struggled with how I could express and create my ideas in my mind visually. Mainly, I was considering many of the best ways to show the theme and motivation in still photos. My idea was to show how people generally get motivated in their lives. I think primarily people’s motivation comes from their actions, and it could be their hobbies, just daily routine such as food, clothing and housing. Carlyn’s suggestion was motivation was easily effect in physically. For example, If the dark mornings make it a challenge to get out of bed and disrupt people’s usual routine, When I choose the outfits, and it can set my day right because I feel comfortable, this will boost my confidence. Making people’s wardrobe something they look forward to wearing can boost their motivation to tackle the day. These moments are real moments that people struggle to get motivated or easily get motivated by doing their favourite actions.
Moreover, Carlyn’s other idea was to give a hashtag or likely slogan for each content with different styling photos taken in different locations. I will try to find the best phrases that can make people can think of in their lives. In addition, I want to narrate each content. My works are likely more about promotions or campaigns and advertising styles, as my tutor told me. Therefore, I think creating the hashtag behind each scene is an idea to show how people can get motivated. I want to try to find the best way to connect the theme while telling the story about myself to approach PR way. I am excited about how I can create the original ZINE.
